Although The One Russtafari has been dj-ing, producing and remixing tracks for the last 10+ years and has had three singles released on vinyl, "The Things We've Lost in Our Minds" is his debut solo full length album.

Influenced by artists such as Wax Tailor, DJ Vadim and Coldcut this album contains a variety of contemporary music genres that bring something fresh, new and exciting to the industry while maintaining a very subtle sense of familiarity that is easy on the ears.

The One Russtafari was born and bred in Eastern Canada. However, his travels have taken him around all corners of the globe including Tokyo, London, New York and LA. "The Things We've Lost in Our Minds" depicts elements of sounds from his travels. His influences and his experiences in different parts of the world make the sounds on this album unique and eclectic.

The album also features a wide range of talented artists from North America and Western Europe. Their individual creative talents present the album with an original, inspired feel. Overall, a tasteful balance of different sounds inter-twined with beats of different contemporary genres.
